Glad I'm off work today. Need to categorize more pics and been trying to create a list of places to go hike/photograph and what places I've been so far. Hopefully Jenn can help me create a excel spreadsheet to organize all the info and gps coordinates.

Went back to the park today. Got several good photographs of some butterfly and other insects.


The wind was really crazy and strong at times. Made it a real challenge but I like a challenge. Also I prefer to shoot insects while they are active. Just seems more interesting and again... more challenging.

Does make we wish my macro lens was repaired already. It can be a real pain only having manual focus at times. Maybe after christmas I can send it off to be repaired.

Been a busy busy week and it's only monday. I really need to find me a new job but there isn't much out there at the moment.

Do have a crap load of new pictures to go thru... edit... and catalog.

I've been experimenting a lot with using my flash. So far I have learned that dslr's have a mind of there own at times.


I've got my film camera back out... think i might shoot some with it on the next photo trip.


Still wish I was here... was a peaceful and enjoyable day with just me, Jenn =MaiganLeigh and nature. Can't wait to get back.

Had a wonderful weekend with my wife and daughter at Old Stone Fort Park in Manchester, TN. I managed to shoot some new pictures but don't think I shot enough
